Security is of the utmost importance
when you have a private network. Whether you have
a
company intranet or an extranet for suppliers or partners, you want
to
ensure that data and information remains confidential and that only
authorized users have access.
PRM security measures
include:
Data Security - Administrators
can restrict access to data on the server only to those people
who will manage and maintain the system, monitor security and back
up the data.
Multiple Levels of Access - Administrators
can set multiple levels of access control to ensure that authorized
users can only see the data, documents and functions to which they
are given permission. Fore example, shared group folders
with restricted access; private email folders for individuals,
distribution lists.
Secure Remote Login Access - A
valid user name and password are required to get access to the intranet
or extranet. All transactions are authenticated. Users can login
remotely.
Secure FTP - Data, files,
and documents are uploaded and transmitted to a secure server via
secure FTP (File Transfer Protocol).
SSL Data Encryption - Allows
you to transmit data securely and to enable secure business transactions
such as e-commerce.
IP Verification - The system
verifies host IP addresses to validate a pre-defined list of known
users that are specified by your organization.
Session Timeouts - The system
will automatically timeout the session after a period of inactivity.
Virus Protection - The secure
mail server is virus-protected.
Optional Security Plan - We
will conduct a needs analysis, identify potential vulnerabilities,
and recommend a security plan, including internal management
of data, business processes and procedures.
Server - The
intranet can be hosted on your own server, if required.
